Hotel Jerome Aspen Wedding | Addy and Nick’s

Weddings

Addy and Nick’s Hotel Jerome Aspen wedding is a reminder that the most unforgettable ceremonies aren’t defined by perfect conditions, but by presence.

Set in the heart of downtown Aspen, their ceremony unfolded in Hotel Jerome’s courtyard as rain gently fell, clear umbrellas lining the brick aisle, and guests leaning in closer rather than pulling away. What could have felt uncertain instead became intimate and deeply alive.

Photographing this Aspen wedding was undeniably grounding. The moment we got to the history-layered Hotel Jerome, we were immersed in Addy and Nick’s ceremony while it unfolded in a way that felt deeply personal and effortlessly connected to the town itself.

An Intimate Aspen Wedding Ceremony Rooted in History at Hotel Jerome

Built in 1890, the Jerome Aspen Hotel carries history that you can feel the moment you step inside.

Western art, antiques, and layered textures give this wedding venue a richness that supports a wedding day beautifully.

Nothing here feels staged. The character is authentic, and it shows in every space.

For Addy and Nick, this history became part of the ceremony itself.

The brick underfoot, the surrounding architecture, and the courtyard’s natural enclosure created a setting that felt held and intentional. Even as the weather shifted, the ceremony never lost its rhythm.

What we saw unfold on their day is one of the reasons an Aspen wedding at Hotel Jerome works so beautifully. This venue doesn’t ask the day to be anything other than it is.

As photographers, we’re always listening for the moments between moments. And at Hotel Jerome, those moments come easily.

When Aspen’s Weather Becomes Part of the Story

Rain has a way of stripping things down to what matters most.

As guests gathered for Addy and Nick’s wedding ceremony beneath clear umbrellas, laughter echoed through the courtyard.

Family members walked the aisle arm in arm. The bridal party moved slowly, intentionally, fully present in the moment rather than rushing through it.

The Hotel Jerome wedding team handled every transition seamlessly, allowing Addy and Nick to stay focused on each other.

There were no hiccups, and no visible stress.

We loved photographing every moment that played off in front of us. The way hands tightened slightly during vows. How guests smiled through the rain. And the way the ceremony was felt.

Downtown Aspen, Fully Experienced

One of the best parts about hosting a Hotel Jerome Aspen wedding is its location. Situated right in downtown Aspen, guests don’t need a car to experience what the area has to offer.

The Aspen Jerome Hotel places guests steps away from world-class art galleries, designer boutiques, and some of Aspen’s most loved restaurants.

For Addy and Nick’s guests, the weekend unfolded naturally, with no pressure to move quickly or coordinate transportation. Everything was close, walkable, and connected.

Dining, Gathering, and Lingering a Little Longer

Hotel Jerome is as much about gathering as it is about place.

Wedding guests can start their mornings at Felix Roasting Co, linger in conversation at the iconic J-Bar, or enjoy a thoughtfully prepared meal at Prospect – a Hotel Jerome Aspen restaurant recognized by the Michelin Guide.

Aspen Jerome Hotel invites people to slow down, connect, and stay present long after the ceremony ends.

It’s part of what makes a Jerome Hotel Aspen wedding feel like more than a single day. It becomes a shared experience.

Why We Love Photographing Weddings at Hotel Jerome in Aspen

Every time we photograph a Hotel Jerome wedding in Aspen, the experience feels rich and deeply human.

The Hotel Jerome’s history, the textures of the courtyard, and the way light moves through the hotel create a setting where emotion has room to breathe.

When we’re photographing here, we only offer gentle direction when needed. Hotel Jerome allows couples to be fully themselves, and we love documenting this as it unfolds.

During Addy and Nick’s ceremony, we moved quietly, reading the energy and photographing natural moments.

The result? A collection of images that feel like impressions rather than poses!
