Hi, I'm Laura

I knew early on that I was meant for a life behind the lens. Classically trained with a degree in Fine Arts from the University of Georgia, I have forever since been immersed in the world of professional photography.

Now, after two decades and countless weddings, my love for this craft - and the amazing people it introduces me to - is stronger than ever. The unique blend of technicality and artistic expression. The balance of method and instinct. An art form where careful preparation is enhanced by spontaneity. The pursuit of beauty, light, expression, and emotion, especially on one of the most momentous occasions in people's lives - is nothing short of amazing.

Every celebration begins with a conversation. Once you reach out, we’ll schedule time to connect and learn more about your wedding weekend, design vision, and what matters most to you. This is where we make sure our approach aligns and begin shaping a photography experience that feels effortless and intentional.

From timeline guidance to collaboration with your planner and creative team, we’re deeply involved behind the scenes. We take time to understand the flow of your day, the design details you’ve carefully chosen, and how you want your wedding to feel, so nothing is rushed and nothing important is missed.

On your wedding day (or weekend), our role is to document everything as it naturally unfolds while gently guiding when needed. We focus on genuine emotion, refined composition, and the in-between moments that bring the story to life, creating images that feel both elevated and deeply personal.

After your celebration, your images are thoughtfully curated and edited with a timeless approach that balances vibrant color and classic black and white. Your final gallery tells the full story of your wedding with intention, artistry, and care, ready to be revisited for years to come.

How far in advance should we book?

Most couples book 9–18 months out, especially for peak weekends and destination dates. If your date is sooner, reach out and we’ll let you know what’s available.

Do you travel for weddings?

Yes. We’re based in Atlanta and photograph weddings in Aspen, Palm Beach, Highlands, and across the Low Country.

What is your process leading up to the wedding weekend?

We will be in conversation with you during the planning phase to gather your special requests for photos and understand your priorities. Using those details, we will create a suggested photo timeline to share with your wedding planner, refining as needed. If we haven’t been to your venues previously, we will scout them for best lighting and backgrounds. All of these steps ensure we are prepared for the day and we can be immersed in documenting it for you.

What can we expect after the wedding weekend?

We are excited to share photos with you very soon after the wedding, and typically have 100 or so sneak peeks ready within 48 hours. We spend the next 4-6 weeks editing your full online gallery, where you can download images or order archival prints if you would like. Heirloom quality albums are available as well, these are hand bound in New Zealand based on your custom choices for cover material, page size, and favorite photos.

Do you shoot film?

Yes! We love incorporating both color and black & white film into the reportage of your celebration.

Do you offer drone photography?

Absolutely. The aerial shots make such a statement, they are a must to have!
